Eng 111

Well I believe the class was pretty kind of fun at times. But a little bit of work needs to fixed like the presentations all the other English classes don’t do it I don’t see what’s the point in doing it like I know its good to help our public speaking skills but presentations is not what your suppose to do in an English class. Like I thought it was pretty cool to do presentations but its just not what you do in an English class, like I went to Virginia Wesleyan College before I came to TCC and the English classes there you didn’t do presentations u wrote three five page papers for the semester and all those together made your grade and I wouldn’t mind writing three five page papers throughout the semester that seems pretty easy to me. I liked the class I always had a good time whenever I came into class everyone was friendly and funny. I would kind of recommend my friends to take this class but if they don’t like doing hard work then I won’t recommend them to take this class. Like my favorite assignment for this class was my diagnostics essay because that vacation to Disney World for a baseball tournament was one of my best vacations ever, because I went to Florida met some pretty cool people across the U.S., met some pretty girls, and also got to play in the stadium where my favorite baseball team, Atlanta Braves, have their spring training, we got to use their weight room and everything it was sweet it was like me being a professional baseball player, I just love to talk about baseball. I just wish I could relive every moment I have had in baseball like the time I was All Tidewater and when I broke a high school record, also all the friends I have made throughout those years playing baseball I just miss it. Baseball is my life I have been playing for 16 years and I just love it I don’t know what my life would be like without it. I also liked the rhetorical analysis paper because I talked about I became the person I am today. I said that my friends, family, and baseball made me who I am with out those three I would be the person who I am with out those I don’t know what I would be like. Like my father influenced me the most in baseball he taught me everything there is to know about the sport my dad had the chance to maybe go pro but because of his father he couldn’t because his father wouldn’t pay for his college or for him to be sent out to Missouri to be checked out by St. Louis Cardinals so he trained me hoping I will be as good as he was and maybe get drafted by a team like that but things for me didn’t go smoothly when I was at Wesleyan .Like with my argument essay I wanted to talk about steroids because its make baseball lose its audience because of the steroid issue. I just wanted people to know about and help prevent anyone from using steroids before they get themselves hurt or hurt someone else. I was glad I got that out to our class that steroids are still being used out there and we need to find a way to prevent these players from taking them. It was great being in the class this semester I hope I pass and go on to Eng 112 and get out of TCC and go on to ODU.

I guess my favorite vacation I went on was when I and high school baseball team went to Disney World down in Florida for a tournament during spring break. Every spring break my team would do some kind of tournament to enter in and play, that year we decide to go to Disney World and enter their tournament that they hold.
So we all flew down to Florida, and when we got there we Disney dropped off some buses to come pick us up and take us to the hotel. When we got to the hotel, the hotel looked like island paradise there were palm trees and a little beach behind the hotel it looked really nice, the hotel rooms were huge it had two beds and a big bathroom. Each room had two people to a room and I stayed with my real good friend that was on the team who I knew for many years. Then later we went over to the stadium and sports complex that we were going to play at for the tournament. The sports complex was huge there were five baseball fields, four lacrosse and soccer fields, and twelve basketball courts, and the baseball stadium where the Atlanta Braves have their spring training. Then the next the whole entire team went to al the of the dissent parks and rode all the rides and went all the shows that were going out in the parks, my favorite ride there was the Rocking Rollercoaster which located at the GMC park.. But then the next day the tournament began and we played some team from New York and I got to start pitching that game, but we killed that team, mostly every team we played we beat them by ten runs or more it seemed like there was no competition out there. But my favorite part about playing in that tournament there is that we got to play in the stadium where the Atlanta Braves have their spring training and we also was able to go in a lift weights in there gym area in the facility. But that trip was so much fun I wish I could do it all over again. That’s why going to Disney World with my team mates was probably the best vacation I have had so far.

Best Vacation
